Our Mission

The Association of Communities Against Abuse (ACAA) is dedicated to the prevention of emotional, physical, and sexual child abuse and the promotion of safe, healthy, well functioning children, families, and communities through preventative education and supportive intervention strategies.

Our Policy

To make available, to all, the services of professional therapists trained in the fields of abuse.

Our Program

Education

We provide to schools, service clubs, community groups, and corporations presentations and workshops regarding the devastation and long term effects of abuse.

Prevention

Early intervention may reduce the extent of abuse within the family unit. As an integral part of the educational process we provide literature and consultation on all forms of abuse.

Treatment

Contracted, professionally trained therapists work throughout the Central Alberta Region to provide the treatment that may be needed.
