Home Support

The Home Support program is a non-profit organization under the direction of a volunteer board of management serving the Town and County of Stettler.

Goals:

To enable seniors or handicapped persons to remain in their homes as long as possible; and,
To assist families in crisis.

Programs Include:

Certified Home Support Aids

Clothes Line

Assist with laundry, meal preparation, routine housekeeping (vacuuming, washing floors, and dusting), assist with personal care (bathing, and pedicures), assist with errands (banking, and shopping)
Provide emergency childcare; and,
Provide limited hours of respite care.

Meals on Wheels

Provide hot, nutritious meals prepared by a local seniors lodge;
Delivered by volunteers at noon Monday to Friday;
Cost per meal is $6.00.

Cooking

Handyman Referrals

Lawn mowing, yard maintenance, snow shoveling, window washing, minor repairs, and most odd jobs.
